When a child has a serious illness, unforgettable experiences have the power to lift spirits and to give vital strength and energy for the challenges that lie ahead. It’s a simple goal and it’s the reason Camp Simcha exists – to improve the quality of life of Jewish children with any serious illness, such as Cancer, Muscular Dystrophy, Dysautonomia and so on, and to provide them with the unforgettable experiences that they and their families deserve.
But it’s not just the children who require our support. The pressures and anguish of caring for a seriously ill child also takes its toll on their parents and any brothers and sisters.
Now, thanks to the dedication and efforts of our incredible volunteers, and the support of our patrons and friends, Camp Simcha UK is steadily growing, to do very special things for many more very special children.
Offering our unique services free of charge to every sector of the community, irrespective of religious observance, our aim is to ensure that the life of every Jewish child in the UK who suffers from a life threatening illness is enhanced by Camp Simcha.
To achieve that ambition, each and every one of us gives our heart and soul, because we know that a smile really does make a difference.
