Toy Drive

Over 10,000 toys collected, sorted and delivered to children in hospital in London and Manchester

Our annual Toy Drive is a highlight of the Camp Simcha calendar

Our Toy Drive is always an exciting annual event supported by the community to bring a boost to children spending the festive season in hospital. With hospital playrooms closed this year due to Covid-19 and no visitors allowed, the children need your toys more than ever, so please Be a Toy Drive Hero!

Nurseries, schools, chederim, synagogues, workplaces and community groups all run collections for us. This year these may be limited due to Covid-19 so we are calling on our supporters to get involved and to create their own community Toy Drive collection points.

As well dropping a toy at a collection point, you can also buy one via our Amazon Wish List here.

All your donations can make such a difference, with your toys being delivered to over 120 hospital wards and hospices throughout London, Hertfordshire, Essex and Manchester. Hospitals are generally short of toys which are suitable for babies and also teenagers, so these are particularly appreciated. All toys need to be brand new and wipeable so no cuddly toys please.

Our Toy Drive heroes come in all shapes and sizes – from donating toys, to collections, to helping with driving and deliveries, to just spreading the word and promoting the Camp Simcha Toy Drive in school, shul and on Facebook groups.

If you can help with driving, hosting a community collection, or to find your nearest collection point, please contact Naomi .

Dear Camp Simcha,

Thank you for your donation of gifts and toys that Camp Simcha’s Simi the monkey mascot bought in on his visit.
The children loved the visit and playing with the toys.
