On Sunday March 4th, seriously ill children and their families were whisked away to our wonderland of fun and treats at Camp Simcha’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed party.
More than 350 family members, including siblings, parents and grandparents joined us for the party at Allianz Park in Mill Hill.
The event was packed with games and activities including basketball, a flying carpet simulator ride, trampoling, hoopla, a graffiti photo booth, reptile encounter, football game, Batak, arts and crafts, inflatables, sensory play and much more.
Of course, no chocolate factory party would be complete without the obligatory chocolate fountain, as well as plenty of other tempting food.

Our chief executive Neville Goldschneider said: “This event would not have happened without our dedicated committee, who worked tirelessly to organise this incredible afternoon. We are also so grateful to our Freedom Trail trekkers, who raised the money to fund the event and some of whom came along to the party. They saw first-hand the joy this kind of event brings to the families Camp Simcha supports, giving them a precious few hours of pure fun – and an opportunity to switch off from the struggles they face.”
