Children supported by Camp Simcha tried out their ideal jobs during an
outing at Kidzania London.
From firefighters to pilots to journalists to TV presenters, there were
nearly 50 different ‘jobs’ for the youngsters to try at the children’s
attraction in Westfield.
More than 230 family members came on the outing, designed to give seriously
ill children and their siblings a therapeutic and positive experience away
from their illness for the day.
Camp Simcha chief executive Neville Goldschneider said: ‘These wonderful
outings we plan at Camp Simcha are an opportunity to bring some light and
joy to our families at a time that can be very dark. For the children it is
pure fun, and for the parents, it’s a real boost to see their children
enjoying themselves at such a difficult time.’
