Children supported by Camp Simcha enjoyed a packed afternoon of fun activities as well as a taste of the Wild West and the Far East at the charity’s Chanukah party.

More than 280 seriously ill children and their family members attended the Chanukah extravaganza as Hasmonean School. Entertainment included rodeo rides, sumo wrestling, racing car simulators, soft play, origami, balloon modelling, face-painting, arts and crafts, a caricaturist, flip books and plenty of Chanukah treats to eat.

Camp Simcha Head of Services Daniel Gillis said: “It was great to see so many of the families we support enjoying all the wonderful activities with our amazing team of Camp Simcha volunteers. These parties, just like our outings and retreats, are something all the family look forward to – as it is a few hours of pure fun and some respite from the, often, daily struggles that their medical conditions bring.”
