Neville Goldschneider

Chief Executive

Neville Goldschneider joined Camp Simcha in January 2005. He gained a Masters Degree in Management Practice from Middlesex University in 2001. Neville came to Camp Simcha with substantial experience gained over 20 years working with children and young people in a variety of Jewish communal settings. He guided Camp Simcha from the Plancey’s kitchen table to what it is today, a national charity servicing thousands of children and parents throughout the UK. Neville’s whole family is dedicated to Jewish communal service – his wife Roz works for Project Seed, his son Adam learns in Yeshivah in Israel and his daughter Leah teaches in a Jewish primary school in NW London.

Melissa Sher

Head of Operations

Melissa earned her Corporate Communications degree and Post Graduate Business Management Diploma in South Africa at a leading Johannesburg University and Business School. She started her career in Learning & Development and the Corporate Training industry and has currently been involved in the third sector for over ten years. Melissa joined Camp Simcha in 2006. She has held various positions ranging from, MIS and Database Logistics, Head of Fundraising to her current role as Head of Operations. Melissa is passionate about making a difference to the lives of families within the community and is dedicated to the fulfilment of Camp Simcha’s mission and vision.

Daniel Gillis

Head of Services

Daniel joined Camp Simcha in September 2010 following a number of years working in the youth movement Bnei Akiva. Daniel enjoys working for a charity that makes a real difference to individuals lives through our tailored support. Together with a dedicated team, he has expanded the services Camp Simcha offers ensuring that new services are always solid in foundation, impactful and sustainable.

Karen Ackerman

Head of Marketing and Communications

Karen spent her early career as a television producer primarily in children's programmes at the BBC. On leaving the BBC, she studied for a Masters in Digital Media with a speciality in the charity sector. She has since run her own company making digital content for charities including films, websites and social media.

Jenny Meister

Head of Finance

Jenny leads the Finance function in the Camp Simcha team. With strong financial management experience, Chartered Accountant, Jenny decided to make the move into the Third Sector in 2016. She is dedicated to Camp Simcha and loves contributing at a strategic level to such a beautiful charity that has the strength of family at its core. Her early career includes Auditing at PwC, Corporate Finance at ABG Corporate Finance and Livingstone Partners, and Financial Control at Investec Bank and International Port Holdings.

Rachely Plancey

Head of our Family Liaison Officers

Rachely started Camp Simcha from her kitchen table in Golders Green aged just 17. Over two decades she and her husband Meir have grown the charity from an idea. Rachely now heads up our team of Family Liaison Officers and is crucial to our dedicated team.
