Is the serious illness of a sibling affecting one of your pupils?
We provide support for school staff dealing with siblings or friends of a child who becomes ill or passes away.

Siblings are often the forgotten sufferers of serious childhood illness experiencing stress, anxiety and even depression.
Their parents may be very preoccupied and stressed trying to cope with the urgent needs of an ill child and the challenges of multiple hospital appointments or long hospital stays.

Siblings may be more disruptive than usual at school, or they be withdrawn or quiet. We offer a wide range of services including support and counselling for parents and siblings, art therapy, outings and special experiences.

To find out whether we can help unwell children or their siblings in your school, please contact Naomi Cohen, Community Liaison Officer – or 020 8202 9297.
