Toy Drive

“I want to thank – Camp Simcha UK. A toy they donated turned the day around for my traumatised three-year-old after yet another incredibly difficult blood test. These tests are a very regular necessity for him to track his declining kidney function They don’t get any easier – if anything, they’re worse as awareness grows – and this small contribution from Camp Simcha UK turned a very dark experience for him today into a positive one, which no doubt will help next time round.” Mum at Great Ormond Street Hospital

Toy Drive is back!

Support our Toy Drive and make sure seriously ill children, in over 100 hospital wards, hospices and in the community, receive a brand new toy.

Each year around 60 Jewish Primary Schools, Chederim and Nurseries take part in the Camp Simcha Toy Drive. We deliver around 9500 toys to children in over 100 hospitals and hospices.
Volunteers collect toys from schools and bring them to the head office in Hendon. These toys are then sorted on our famous ‘Toy Drive packing day’ and delivered to hospitals all over London and Manchester.

Here’s a little film to show the impact of Toy Drive and to thank all the volunteers who took part in 2017.

How can my organisation get involved?

Our collection for 2017 is over now, but please let us know if you’d like to collect in 2018

Just email us for more information.

What kind of Toys do we collect?

Any new toys are always welcome except cuddly toys which have a risk of infection. You can drop toys at schools, shuls, nurseries, chederim and other community groups that are taking part or you can drop them at our office in working hours.

How can I volunteer for Toy Drive?

Our Packathon for 2017 is finished now, but please get in touch if you’d like to volunteer in 2018

All children aged 8+ are welcome to come but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
