Toy Drive

The Camp Simcha Toy Drive is back!

Support our Toy Drive and make sure seriously ill children, in over 100 hospital wards, hospices and in the community, receive a brand new toy.

Each year around 60 Jewish Primary Schools, Chederim and Nurseries take part in the Camp Simcha Toy Drive. We deliver around 9500 toys to children in over 100 hospitals and hospices. Volunteers collect toys from schools and bring them to the head office in Hendon. These toys are then sorted on our famous ‘Toy Drive packing day’ and delivered to hospitals all over London and Manchester.  This year our Toy Drive will be taking place between 5-22nd November.

How can I get involved?

– Simply bring a new toy into your children’s school if they are participating or bring them to our office. (No cuddly toys please due to risk of infection).

If you’re in Manchester please drop toys into Holy Law Synagogue South Broughton Sunday – Friday 9-11am until November 19th
– Or buy a toy from the Camp Simcha Amazon wishlist.

How can I volunteer for the London packing day?

This year’s Toy Drive is our biggest ever. 8000 brand new toys are delivered to 110 wards, hospices and community teams. To ensure each seriously ill child receives a toy, we need volunteers to help sort and pack.

Please note we are now full on packing day and no longer require volunteers. However if you wish to be added to our waiting list, please email:

How can my organisation get involved?

Our collection for 2018 will begin 5th November until 22nd November. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved and collect toys in your school, shul, cheder or workplace. Email us for more information.

Here’s a little film to show the impact of Toy Drive and to thank all the volunteers who took part in 2017.
