Camp Simcha and Jewish Digest

We are delighted to have partnered up with Jewish Digest to support those with Crohn’s and Colitis.

Over 260,000 people in the UK have Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease – about 1 person in 250.

The two main forms of Inflammatory Bowel disease (IBD) are Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis (UC).  Living with one of these conditions can be quite a challenge. These illnesses can occur at any age, but most frequently start in people aged between 10 and 40.

Chava Erlanger, is both one of our Camp Simcha mums as well as one of our art therapists.

We have collaborated with JDigest to produce the 14-page guide after Ms Erlanger had researched it for her 19-year-old son’s year in Israel. It contains everything travellers with IBD or other chronic conditions might need to know, from accessing help at the airport to how to get blood tests or infusions administered to organisations which can get emergency medication or care.
