Ambassadors
The Camp Simcha Ambassador Network is a group of people who are working within our communities to make a difference.
Does this sound like something you want to be a part of? Here’s some more information to help you decide:
What is a Camp Simcha Ambassador?
Camp Simcha Ambassador are people who choose to represent our charity. They are:
- Parents in schools, ordinary synagogues members, golf or other club members
- Enthusiastic, positive volunteers who are committed to raising awareness about what our children face, and the difference that Camp Simcha does for them
What would I do as a Camp Simcha Ambassador?
You would represent Camp Simcha in many different activities such as:
- Events eg. setting up events to raise awareness
- Publicity, e.g. arranging for articles about Camp Simcha to appear in school and shull newsletters or magazines
- Raising awareness, e.g. talking to your shull members or youth groups
Why should I become a Camp Simcha Ambassador?
Being an Ambassador will be fun, challenging and rewarding
The scheme is flexible so you can fit being a Camp Simcha Ambassador in with your other activities. It may even help some of them!
There will be training workshops, regional meetings and an annual meeting for all Ambassadors so you can meet other like-minded people
You will be making a difference to the lives of children with life long or life threatening illnesses. You will be their voice in your community and help to empower them with greater independence.
