The Jewish Chronicle this week featured an article about our new Digital Detox fundraising initiative where fundraisers give up their digital devices for 48 hours and do something useful with their extra time whilst also raising money for Camp Simcha at the same time.

The article showcased our first group of Digital Detoxers – Adam Pollock and his friends, who wanted to mark Adam’s upcoming Bar Mitzvah. Adam was supported by Camp Simcha for 3 and a half years after he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 5. They gave up their phones and ipads for 48 hours and spent their time doing a number of good deeds in the community, including packing shopping and collecting money at Marks & Spencer, packing donations at Gift and even came into the Camp Simcha offices to hear from our Chief Executive, Neville Goldschneider, about the work Camp Simcha does.
