PAST EVENTS

Camp Simcha Regular Family Retreat – Sunday 18 – Monday 19 June 06

The most incredible time was had by all at the Camp Simcha Family Retreat at the gorgeous Heythrop Park Hotel in the Cotswolds. Parents got to have a little time out, whilst their children have the time of their lives with our incredible Big Brother & Sister Volunteers. Helicopter rides, stunts shows and African Bar-B-Qs were all part of the fun. On a more serious side, parents got to meet up with others and gain support from those in similar circumstances. Everybody is no counting the days down until next years retreat.

Madame Tussauds – Sunday 14 May 06

Both Camp Simcha regular and a ‘Special’ group of the children with illnesses other than cancer had an amazing time amongst the celebrities, Prime Ministers, Presidents, Kings and Queens.

If you know a child or young Jewish person with Cancer, or with a serious illness or condition who might enjoy an amazing outing, they will be most welcome to any of our events – all siblings welcome too. Just call us on 020 8731 6788.

Arts for Fun – Sunday 21 May 06

Plates, cups and all sorts got beautifully painted at a really cool art session at the Arts for Fun Centre in Hampstead.

Camp Simcha Regular Family Retreat – Sunday 18 – Monday 19 June 06

Once again, families who really need it, will be treated to two unforgettable days of family retreat. The sun is guaranteed (Well almost) to smile on us again, whilst parents get to meet and gain support from others, whilst their children have the time of their lives with our incredible Big Brother & Sister Volunteers.

Camp Simcha Regular Purim Party – Sunday 12 March 06

The Purim Party is one of the highlights of the Camp Simcha year, and this one was no exception. Inflatables were the name of the game. Bouncy boxing, bunjy running and the amazing bucking camel were hilarious and loads of fun. You could pin the nose on the clown or get your face painted, or simply laze around in the bouncy ball pond.

If you know a child or young Jewish person with Cancer, who might enjoy an amazing party, they will be most welcome to our events – all siblings welcome too. Just call us on 020 8731 6788.

Camp Simcha Special Purim Party – Sunday 19 March 06

For the first time ever, Camp Simcha which also aims to help children with serious illness other than Cancer, held a “Special” party for Purim. Yes we know 19 March was after Purim but we didn’t want to clash with any other celebrations that would go on before. Parents and children came to Hollywood Bowl in Finchley. There was food galore and lots of games to play and prizes to be won for all.

If you know a child or young Jewish person with a serious illness or condition, who might enjoy an amazing party, they will be most welcome to our events – all siblings welcome too. Just call us on 020 8731 6788.

London Eye – Sunday 5 February 06

We were incredibly lucky to catch a bright sunny (If cold) day in the middle of February to go on the London Eye. We also had a great time in the indoor wonderland of Namco.
