Special treats:
A dream come true can make a real difference to a child facing up to serious illness and treatment. Whether it’s meeting a celebrity or a trip to Buckingham Palace, we will make it happen. The beaming face of one of our children recently said it all – after all, it’s not every Uncle Moishy fan who is given their very own personalised cassette recording by the singing sensation himself.
Outings:
It’s VIP treatment all the way when we take our children, including siblings, on excursions. There’s no standing in line at theme parks, as they are taken straight to the front of the queue for rides. Even at museums, we arrange special behind-the-scenes tours to areas off-limits to the general public. These are days-out they’ll cherish forever.
Parties:
If there’s a reason to celebrate, then that’s precisely what we’ll do, bringing children together to enjoy everything from birthdays to Purim to Chanukah. If their illness means they can’t make it to the party, we’ll bring the party to them - we’re used to throwing birthday bashes in hospital, so there’s no need for anybody to miss out.
Family Retreats:
Family retreats provide a wonderful opportunity to spend a few days away, benefiting from the unique Camp Simcha experience. Parents and children have a chance to spend quality time with other families, and to enjoy their own tailor-made programme. Retreats provide whole families with a vital lift when it is needed most.
Camp Simcha USA:
Each summer, children from all over the world converge on our purpose built campsite in the Catskills. Here the children are treated to a wonderland of unique experiences. As well as traditional camp pastimes, there are water sports, helicopter trips and motorbike rides. Each child is accompanied to the US by his or her own volunteer and nurse. With an onsite hospital, we ensure that medical needs are never an obstacle.
