When a child has a serious illness, the pressures and anguish take their toll on all the members of the family. We have a number of services, such as our Family Liaison Officers and our Home Support Volunteers, designed to help parents cope.
Serious illness can deprive a child of the opportunity to enjoy many aspects of their childhood that others take for granted. Our Unforgettable Experiences are designed to give the child and their siblings some of that childhood back. We know that a special treat, a party or a great day out can make a great difference to the healing process.
By offering our unique services free of charge to every sector of the community, irrespective of religious observance, we are able to do very special things for very special people, and provide the unforgettable experiences that they and their families deserve.
Our aim is to ensure that no child or family in the UK who can benefit from our support has to cope without it.
Camp Simcha is uniquely placed to make a real difference, thanks to the services we offer in two main areas:
- the essential support we provide to individual families
- unforgettable experiences we offer the children and their siblings.
