Young Volunteers

Our young volunteers have a vital part to play in supporting Camp Simcha. Your help allows us to reach many more children and their family members .

Log these volunteering hours towards your Yoni Jesner (11-14), V-Inspire or Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Get involved today:

Tzedakah Box – Get one delivered for your class or at home

Fundraising Committee Volunteers – Help us raise money for Camp Simcha by putting on events in your school or with your friends.

Cheer Volunteer – Come and help us at challenges such as the Marathon, we need lots of volunteers to help us take pictures and support our challengers.

Work Experience – During busy periods we often look for office volunteers to come and help out with administration work, helping you to gain vital office skills.

Challenge Yourself – If you are interested in running, cycling or trekking, join the Camp Simcha team. We have a range of opportunities from 1km at the Maccabi Fun Run to a full Triathlon (11+).

All these opportunities are available via Evolve so you can log your volunteering hours.

Year 7/8 – Share your Bar or Bat Mitzvah with Camp Simcha and ask your guests to donate to our cause or give your 10% to us and receive a special celebratory certificate.

Year 13 – Once you’re in year 13, we’d love you to apply to help us at Keshet summer day scheme or deliver balloons and cuddly monkeys to bring a smile to children in hospital.

Are you over 18? – become a Camp Simcha Big Brother or Sister, a special friend to a Camp Simcha child.

Purim – Get a group of friends together and get involved in our Purim Collection, games, activities and spieling, as well as making mishloach manot parcels.
