You and your school or Youth Group can really make a difference by choosing Camp Simcha for one of your fundraising events or by getting involved in brand new extra-curricular activities with your pupils.
Children, more than anyone, understand other children and that is why we are so thankful when young people support us. Some ways to get involved:
Adopt Camp Simcha as your charity of the year or term – We would be happy to discuss specific projects that you could help to fund or we could come and speak at an assembly.
Help raise awareness – As a smaller (but growing) charity, it is vital that we raise awareness amongst the community. Your school could help by distributing leaflets to parents, including a mention in your e-newsletter or putting up posters in school.
Sign up to our annual Toy Drive – Every Chanuka, Jewish schools ask pupils to bring in new toys for Camp Simcha. These toys are then delivered/collected and distributed to over 1,000 children in hospitals, hospices and treatment centres.
Perform for Camp Simcha – Stage your school play and donate a percentage of the proceeds to our charity – perhaps organise a raffle to raise additional funds.
Sporting Events – Encourage your pupils to get fit and healthy by participating in different activities and raising money through sponsorship, in aid of Camp Simcha.
